Hello! I'm Rochelle - an archaeologist and Zoo Guide, currently studying wildlife biology, with a particular interest in bears and zooarchaeology, and how we can use an understanding of past species to help save our current wildlife populations.
Much of my time is spent at the Oregon Zoo with the bears, or out on the nature trails of the Columbia Gorge.
My blog is a collection of brain dumps about different species, and eventually will host more thoughtful posts about my research, travels, etc. I try to update it regularly, but it doesn't always happen when I get busy.
I also fancy myself a bit of an amateur nature photographer. My photography page hosts a variety of snaps I've taken out and about in nature or at the zoo.
Enjoy, and thanks for stopping by!
